Chamber Choir is the premiere vocal ensemble at Heritage High School. The Chamber Choir placed first overall in the high school choir division at the 2018 and 2019 Music In The Parks festival, receiving Superior ratings at both MITP and the GMEA Large Group Performance Evaluations. It is an auditioned group consisting of 18 to 22 members. You must be registered for choir all year to participate. If your student makes the choir, they will rehearse on Wednesdays from 2:35 - 3:25 instead of leaving for early dismissal. Chamber Choir will be year round (August to May). The Chamber Choir will be performing at all concerts, Rock City's Garden of Lights, GMEA's Large Group Performance Evaluations, the Six Flags Music In The Parks trip, and at other community events. There is no additional cost to participate in the Chamber Choir, only regular choir class costs (dress & Six Flags trip). If you choose to audition for this advanced ensemble, you must make it your priority. You MUST be at practice every week. Although the group consists mainly of upperclassmen, ninth grade students are encouraged to audition.
