The Chattanooga Boys Choir hosts its sixth annual Only Men Aloud! festival for changed-voice singers in grades 8-12 for a day of instruction, rehearsal, and performance. The CBC’s Cantabile choir joins local students in preparing selections under the direction of CBC staff and guest clinician Dr. Jonathan Rodgers (Professor of Choral Music, Lee University) which they will perform in an afternoon "informance" program for parents and guests. Master classes with voice instructors and performances by the Men of Lee choir from Lee University will highlight this day of music and learning. In order to have enough sheet music and materials for everyone, participants should register for the festival by Friday, October 13.
WHO: young men in grades 8-12 are invited to participate. WHEN: Saturday, November 3, 2018 8:30am - registration begins (Music Building) 9:00am - rehearsals begin (Music Building) 3:30am - final performance in Alumni Chapel LOCATION: Baylor School Music Building - 171 Baylor School Road, Chattanooga COST:FREE! Sheet music and all festival activities are included at no costto students. A pizza lunch is provided on campus.
