Class Text Messaging

**All parents and students must sign up for Remind again this year.  Last year's class has been archived.  Please sign up to receive texts for the HHS Chorus class through www.Remind.com.  This is the easiest way for me to keep you informed.  Please text @hhssing to 81010 to join.

Coca-Cola Fundraiser

Please collect Coca-Cola bottle caps (or the codes from the inside of the boxes of Coke cans) to help support the Heritage High School Chorus.  You may enter the codes yourself at us.coca-cola.com/give/ by clicking on the “donate to your local school” link.  Type in 30736 and scroll to find Heritage High School. Create your own log-in and you may begin typing in Coke codes.

You may also send them to chorus class and we will enter the codes for you!  Thanks for your support!

Note from the Director

I am excited to begin another new school year!  I was inspired to love choral music by my former choral director at Powell Valley Middle & High School in Big Stone Gap, Virginia.  My mentor, Dr. Jim Daugherty, recently retired from the University of Kansas.  His dedication to choral excellence had a huge and lasting impact on my life.  I hope to pass that gift along to you!

Participating in a choir requires hard work, but it is fun.  I always expect your best effort in class. This will be a rewarding experience that will enrich your life.  You will bring so much to this group, including your voice, your ideas, and most importantly your positive attitude.  You will grow musically and work together as a team.  We are going to have a great year!

Please read all the information in the links under "HOME".  This should answer questions you may have about the choir class and leadership.  Please add the required performance dates to your calendar today.  I look forward to meeting and working with each of you.
